Last Friday saw the release of 3 fantastic EA titles that we have spent the weekend playing..

Spore™

In Spore you have a variety of creation tools at your disposal that allow you to customise nearly every aspect of your universe: creatures, vehicles, buildings, and even spaceships.

Our creature "Girr" started life as a little yellow blob with eyes protruding from his rear end and went onto to explore the galaxy in a bright white pirate ship.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames™ is an explosive open-world action game set in a massive, highly reactive, war-torn world. You are a mercenary, and you profit from chaos.

We have destroyed vehicles, buildings and even an oil platform with amazing explosions while undertaking missions alone but in co-op things got really exciting, piloting a helicopter while your friend dangles beneath in a tank blowing up everything that moves is an experience you don't often get, even in games!

FaceBreaker™

The renaissance of the arcade boxing genre is upon us. Created by the same team that developed the award-winning Fight Night Round 3, FaceBreaker offers irreverent fun, immersive gameplay and eye-popping stylised graphics.

FaceBreaker has seen plenty of action over the last few days, as two beginners facing up against each other it seemed ridiculously easy to break each others face but after slogging through the "brawl for it all" and learning the secrets of dodging and parrying our fights became an epic power struggle with Facebreakers taking time and cunning to achieve.
